Welcome ... to the Villages at Timber Oak

We are a friendly condominium community of 328 units that was opened in 2006. Among 50 acres of beautifully landscaped property, we are situated in both the towns of Danbury and Bethel CT.

The Villages has an outdoor pool, clubhouse, exercise facility, tennis court and gazebo in a park-like setting. Many of our residents enjoy the open spacious grounds as they leisurely stroll through the community with their family and friends.  In addition, we are near many major retail outlets in the surrounding towns, and close access to parks, trails, theatres, public transportation and interstate highways that lead to New England and New York State/New York City.

What's Happening at Timber Oak

To our residents, the following information is provided as a current update of significant activities and messages for the community:

Pickleball Fall Classic Tournament!

Calling all TO Pickleball Players !!!

As some of you know last year's Timber Oak Pickleball (TOP) Round Robin inaugural Fall classic tournament was a great success. Now that the court has been resurfaced, lined for pickleball, and netting added for security and errant balls, we are all set for this year's event. We currently have 14 community members who have signed up for this year's TOP tournament.
If you have not already signed up and would like to participate, please send an email to TOP@VillagesatTimberOakcc.com and let me know your approximate level.
If you have a DUPR rating, please let me know - if not please rate yourself using https://usapickleball.org/.../player-skill-rating.../
This year's tournament will take place Sunday, September 29th (weather permitting) starting around 11:00 AM. For those who are unable to make the 11:00 AM start, please let me know what time would work and we will try to schedule you later in the rotation.

Like last year, the tournament will be a doubles round robin format where players will play with different partners each game. Each game will be played to 11 (win by 2 with a 15-minute time limit). Each winning team member will receive 10 points for the win. In case of a tie (due to time limit), all players will receive 5 points each. After all scheduled games have been completed, the four players with the highest total score, will play in a three-game championship round-robin.
Even if you are not playing, feel free to come out and support our community by cheering on our players. [ more ]
